Silvia Verde

Silvia Verde was born in Peru. She is currently an Arts Management senior year student at SUNY-Purchase College. For over 3 years, she has also been studying Zen Shiatsu with Kumiko Kanayama at the Five Lights Center of Shiatsu in New York City, spreading The Power of Touch.

Silvia has been initiated in the healing arts of the Andean-Amazonian Traditions and Cosmovision. She also received Green Medicine & Herbalism training at the Open Center in New York City, and studied at the Heartstone Center for Earth Essentials.

One of her projects at the Five Lights Center is preparing social media posters in Spanish. She plans on teaching and sharing her shiatsu experience when she returns to Peru.
