About the event

FEEL ENERGY FLOW!

Shiatsu is a form of Japanese bodywork rooted in East Asian medical philosophy. Where acupuncture uses needles to target acupressure points in the meridian system, shiatsu balances the flow of vital energy (or ki) through touch, stretching, and guided movement.

Join respected Shiatsu Grand Master Kumiko Kanayama as she guides you to explore five elements theory, meridians, stretches, and fundamental techniques. Through experiential learning, minimal lectures, meridian exercises, and more, you will:

  • Locate the twelve meridians in your body.

  • Loosen your body to promote the flow of ki.

  • Learn acupressure techniques you can use to release stress.
